Wallet guides
How to send USDT from popular wallets without overpaying.
How to send USDT from Trust Wallet
To keep a USDT transfer from Trust Wallet from burning TRX, get energy before you send: copy your TRON address, check it on Tronilend, and send 1.05 TRX for energy. A few seconds later, send USDT as usual.
How to send USDT from TronLink
In TronLink, a USDT transfer won't burn TRX if your address has energy. Check your address on Tronilend, send 1.05 TRX for energy, and a few seconds later send your USDT.
How to send USDT from Tangem
Tangem is a hardware wallet, but energy works the same way: get it first, and your USDT transfer won't burn TRX. Your keys stay on the card. We only need the address.
How to send USDT from Exodus
In Exodus, USDT TRC20 and TRX share one TRON address. Get energy for that address before you send, and the TRX fee nearly disappears.
How to send USDT from Ledger
With Ledger, a USDT TRC20 transfer goes through without burning TRX if the energy is already on your address. You can get it in advance, and your keys never leave the device.
