How to send USDT from Trust Wallet

To keep a USDT transfer from Trust Wallet from burning TRX, get energy before you send: copy your TRON address, check it on Tronilend, and send 2.5 TRX for energy. A few seconds later, send USDT as usual.

Note a Trust Wallet quirk: the wallet may ask for about 28 TRX in your balance even when you have energy. That's an app check, not a network fee.

The wallet sometimes shows an estimate before it sees the delegated energy. Refresh the screen after 10–20 seconds.

Can I pay for energy for my Trust Wallet address from an exchange?

You can't pay from an exchange: the energy would go to the exchange's address. Send TRX from the same Trust Wallet you'll send USDT from.
