How to send USDT from Exodus

In Exodus, USDT TRC20 and TRX share one TRON address. Get energy for that address before you send, and the TRX fee nearly disappears.

Exodus doesn't show energy in the app, so check it on Tronilend or in TronScan.

Step by step

    Open Tether USD (TRON) → Receive and copy the address.

    Paste it into the checker.

    Open TRX → Send and send exactly 2.5 TRX to the payment address.

    Wait for the “Ready to send” status. It usually takes seconds.

    Go back to Tether USD (TRON) → Send and make the transfer.

Good to know

  • Make sure you pick Tether (TRON), not Tether (Ethereum). They're different networks.

  • Exodus may require a small TRX balance for the fee. Keep 1–2 TRX.
